About Setup
Program Components
Through a series of consultations with the Regional Offices and relevant RDIs
punctuated by two planning workshops, one in Tagaytay on January 27-28, 2002 and
in Ilo-ilo City on March 6, 2002, 4 industry sectors to be assisted through the
program were identified. However, because of the commitment of the Mindanao regions
to assist enterprises in the horticulture industry, this was included.

- Furniture
- Fashion Accessories, Gift, Toys, Housewares, Handicrafts, and Natural
Fibers and Dyes
- Marine and Aquatic Resources
- Horticulture
- Metals and Engineering
All existing and to be implemented technology transfer projects for SMEs carried
out by the Regional Offices, the RDIs and sector Councils will now be integrated
into the SETUP.
